Spent an entire spring weekend with fifteen teenagers in a black room, watching over 100 short movies, and kept everyone fed, happy, and civil
Worked twelve hours a day in 110 F (43 C) weather, outside, on a football field in August, with no shade, and never got sunburned
Stayed awake for about 68 hours to write, produce, shoot, and edit a movie
Designed the interior of a spaceship for less than $15.00
Viewed and remembered details of over 200 films in a two-week period (admittedly, most of those films were under 20 minutes)
Survived through five days of the Cannes Film Festival spending only $150 on food and lodging
Fixed copy and fax machine jams when everyone said it would be impossible
Conducted interviews and question & answer sessions with no practice or warning in front of large audiences
Held three jobs and attended French classes in Philadelphia while simultaneously working on a film in New York City
Instructed to produce about fifteen pounds of flat cardboard "however possible" at 8:00am on a Sunday morning in Philadelphia, and managed to do so within ten minutes
Presented a hugely successful evening of David Bowie karaoke to a packed house with no karaoke equipment or knowledge of David Bowie songs
Acquired the ability to spot every reel changeover in a movie theater, and note if it is too early or late
Carried 8 reels/2 cans of film up four flights of stairs about one-thousand times
Developed an advance knowledge of the inner workings of FedEx
Logged eight hours of film viewed on a VCR from 1993 with no remote, with specific instructions that every single word, grunt, and sigh get written down
Promoted and gave detailed written and verbal descriptions of feature-length films that I only viewed for 2 minutes
