December 2006 - February 2008

  • Managed all aspects of post-production for Everyday Italian (Food Network); assisted with post-production coordination for Good Deal With Dave Lieberman (Food Network), prepared and submitted all final paperwork to the Network.
  • Created and maintained the rapidly changing post schedule, supervised all online sessions for quality control, liaised between the editors, post-producers, executive producers, and the Network, gathered feedback.
  • Oversaw the creation of the Teale-Edwards Productions website, from the logistical side (budgeting, talking to tech support, etc) to the creative side (updating content, selecting video clips to represent our product, etc).
  • Assistant editor for various productions - loading, organizing, and assembling projects using Final Cut Pro.
  • Coordinated various productions from the office, hired all the crew members, and worked on set.
  • Researched and wrote proposals for television series, targeting networks such as Discovery, History, and the Travel Channel.

  • Assisted in running the fifth annual Youth Media Jam, a national film festival for filmmakers ages 5-21.

  • Film at the Prince was the largest cinema in Philadelphia, with the capability of projecting film and video. I worked under the Program Director to create a space for all types of cinema events in a non-profit environment.
  • Maintained the department budget, tracked attendance and participation for fundraising purposes (working closely with the grant writers), coordinated print traffic, scheduled projectionists and sound technicians.
  • Wrote press releases and media advisories, edited the Film at the Prince website.
  • Assisted in the exhibition of every major film festival in Philadelphia, and was invited to speak at schools and universities on the topics of film promotion and exhibition.
  • Saw attendance to the cinema more than double during my employment.
